Anthropic upgrades Claude's voice mode: talking to AI is becoming a work tool

Anthropic has updated the voice mode of its Claude assistant, moving it to more capable models: a spoken dialogue now barely trails a typed one in comprehension and answer quality. Voice interfaces for AI are ceasing to be a note-dictation toy and turning into a full working channel.

For business this matters more than it seems: a sizable share of employees have their hands busy with actual work. A driver, a warehouse worker, a field technician, a shop-floor salesperson — typing queries is awkward for all of them, and voice is what makes AI usable where there is no keyboard.

The practical move for a company in Kazakhstan is to try the voice scenario on its field roles: dictate a site-visit report, ask about stock availability, log readings. What matters is that company data stands behind the voice, not generic reasoning: at 1Cifer the agent answers an employee in plain language — Russian or Kazakh — from their company's own numbers, so the form of the question stops being a barrier.
